Short stories are like gossamer, those fine skeins that are woven by tiny spiders in the garden during autumn. They are delicate, catch just enough of the morning dew to sparkle with baubles and are a complete web of silk. In this collection are 30 short stories that are quick to read and will hopefully catch the glittering baubles of the reader’s interest. Join the author as she recounts the experiences of a young lady and the marriage proposals she received. There is a story of an enthusiastic shop owner; of how a father went from worry to hope, how a ‘water tank’ rose to a steeple of worship and other little escapades. Some accounts are glimpses into the author’s past, and others are just plain yarns – nevertheless, all a bit like gossamer, freshly woven in the garden.
