Tears of sadness would roll down at every single negative thought that entered her mind, "Why are you so ugly?", "No boy is gonna wanna date you looking like this.", "No point in making friends, cause you'll be the ugly friend.", "Why Me?!".One day, a lightbulb switched! Tyia realized she was tired of having a negative self-image. It's draining! She came across the scripture Psalms 139:14 "...i am fearfully and wonderfully made...". Tyia started to speak this scripture over her life to combat all those negative thoughts.
