After choosing one (or more) of the vows in each book, couples can come together and compare. Each vow corresponds with the same number in the opposite book. This communication between each party cultivates and reinforces teamwork, a valuable asset in any marriage.
The vow that each person chooses should serve as an expression of their feelings for their significant other. It can be challenging to find the words to capture how you feel towards another person, so this exercise works to find new words and ways to express your thoughts and feelings. The chart ensures that each vow is presented in the correct manner and order, as it was written.
