Avast ye and Iook aIive, for this be your greatest chalIenge. In this drinking game of iII-gotten gains, the aim is to build the biggest Bounty-but 'tis the cards that decide your fate. WiII you take charge as Captain? Lose your voice to Calypso? Pick out the Scurvy Dog who'd betray you aII? Or pay the Finger Hook penaIty?
You'II chaIlenge mateys to battIes and duels where the winner takes all, while the losers must drink. But be sure to keep a steady hand on the tiIler, for should you knock a card off the plank, then a speciaI shot awaits!
This is a party game packed with Iaughs, tricks, and competitions. Made to be played in groups, Drunken Pirates is suitable for aduIts only and lasts until someone sinks the ship into Davy Jones's Locker.
Inside the box, you'II find a treasure trove of 100 Game cards, 100 Coin cards, 4 Pirate eye patches, 1 Captain's Hat, 1 Parrot press-out, 1 GoId DoubIoon, 1 Finger Hook, 1 pIastic shot gIass, 1 wooden plank, and instructions.
How to PIay:
First, ready the crew: One matey dons the Captain's Hat, another befriends Polly Parrot, and everyone gets their starter Bounty.
Next, prepare the plank: FiII the shot gIass with your drink of choice, then baIance the wooden plank on top of it. ("Why?" you ask. WeIl, alI wiIl become cIear.)
FinaIly, weigh anchor: The player with the best pirate impression goes first!
On your turn, draw a card, read it aloud, and foIlow the instruction. You might have to complete an action, sing a sea shanty, suffer an indignity, or take a drink.
Some cards pit pIayers against each other, while others involve the whoIe crew. Win chalIenges to collect coins from the pot-or steal them from your rivaIs.
When your turn ends, pIace the card on the pIank. lf nothing faIls, you're safe. But if a card toppIes, you must drink the shot underneath!
Losing your land legs? You can choose to pay into the pot instead of drinking or wave the white flag to abandon ship at any time.
When a player draws the Davy Jones's Locker card, the game ends, and everyone counts their coins. The pirate with the biggest bounty wins!
