(born August 14, 1975, Fort Wayne, Indiana) is an American actress. She
may be best-known for her role in the hit lesbian film And Then Came
Lola. She co-stars on the television series, Dante's Cove, as well as
3Way, a lesbian web series, with Cathy Shim, Maile Flanagan and Maeve
Quinlan. She is now producing a webseries entitled "We Have to Stop
Now". Season 1 is being released this summer and showing at Frameline
and Outfest LGBT film festivals. Bennett is an out lesbian. She said
"There are plenty of lesbians in Hollywood, but they're not out. And
that's their choice, but I can't do that, it's too important to me". She
is in a relationship with actress Cathy DeBuono, with whom she has
worked many times. She converted to Judaism and has spoken about her
experience in some of her SheWired video blogs. |
