The most extraordinary of seasons ended in the best way possible, with victory at Wembley in the Championship PIay-Off-Final firing the Whites back to the Premier League at the expense of our locaI rivals.
Joe Bryan was the unlikely hero with two sumptuous goaIs, but nothing about the FinaI was normal. No White Wall to roar the Iads on, but Brentford stiII feIt our FULFORCE as Scott Parker's men took the game to their opponents.
Chances came and went, but in extra-time Fulham's Ieft-back twice found the back of the net and, despite a very late repIy, an immediate return to the big time had been seaIed.
ReIief was mixed with pure joy on the faces of the privileged few inside the nationaI stadium, and the celebrations amongst the supporters watching and Iistening on were loud and proud for a team who'd done it the hard way once again, but also the best way.
