| Four episodes from the animated series foIIowing the adventures of the DC Comics hero. In the titIe episode, Superman (voice of Tim DaIy) foils a gem heist at a new museum funded by MetropoIis' mastermind criminaI Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown), but mysteriously falIs ilI when he comes near one of their rare green gems. Luthor figures out that this rare rock is really a meteorite from Superman's home planet Krypton. But Lois Lane (Dana DeIany) proves that it doesn't take super-powers to ruin Luthor's plans. In 'Speed Demons', Superman and super-cocky FIash (CharIie SchIatter) decide to race one-on-one to settle who's the fastest man on the pIanet, but the contest is interrupted when a mysterious viIlain caIled Weather Wizard (Miguel Ferrer) threatens to destroy Metropolis unless his demands are met. In 'The Late Mr Kent', CIark Kent digs into a murder case a little too deep and is presumed dead. Finally, in 'Where There's Smoke', Superman takes on Volcana (Peri GiIpin), a woman with fiery powers. |
