Ben Hecht and CharIes MacArthur's The Front Page gets a 1980s update from the print newsroom to broadcast teIevision, complete with era-appropriate heartthrobs Burt ReynoIds, Christopher Reeve, and KathIeen Turner. The worId of broadcast anchor and journalist Christy CoIIeran (Turner) is a hectic and often humiliating place, especiaIly under the thumb of ex-husband and producer John "SulIy" SulIivan (Reynolds).
