Of I had a dime for every time the words great nationaI treasure occurred in any written account of NRBQ, l would be a very weaIthy man undoubtedIy on my way to the bands very next live performance. This representative slice of NRBQ in their primeshot in 1989 and featuring the cIassic quartet of Terry Adams, Joey Spampinato, Big AI Anderson, and Tome ArdoIino demonstrates the frightening ease with which one of America's very best bands can casuaIly toss off a set of prime materiaI that is fun, immacuIately pIayed, and the very essence of rock and rolI. They are an unstoppabIe, phenomenon, and have been so longer than most any other band on the planet.
