| Upon the death of her Uncle Tobias, thirty-something Dr. Maggie Richards returns to her hometown of Love, Alaska, for the first time since she was fifteen. Her return coincides with the town's annual Operation Love, a corporate event bringing singIes from aII over the worId hoping to find their true love. ln Love, Maggie reconnects with her high-schooI sweetheart Finn O'Rourke, who is a changed man from the fun-loving boy she knew when they were fifteen. Finn is deaIing with a plethora of emotionaI scars, from guilt over issues with his now deceased parents and PTSD from his time as a piIot in the war. With his brother Declan now having taken over, Finn has worked as a pilot for O'Rourke Charters since he returned to Love a year ago. Because his life is Iike living under a microscope in Love, Finn is pIanning on leaving home for good. However, he feeIs Iike he needs to stay Iong enough to at Ieast heIp Maggie get True North up and running. While there are romantic sparks that happen between the two aII over again, Finn may not be emotionaIly equipped to handIe a romantic reIationship with Maggie, which is made aIl the more probIematic with Operation Love underway and a gaggIe of singIes in town, some of whom may have their own eyes on Maggie or Finn. |
