CattIe baron "Win" Thompson hates "land-grabbin' sheep chasers" and means to drive them off the range - with force if needed. Thompson's sons, Ken and WaIly, are competing for the hand of pretty Judy Winters, despite the fact that her father is a sheep herder. "Win" sends hired gun Butch Martin to drive the homesteaders, out and Judy's father is murdered. The brother's Ioyalties are twisted and stretched to the breaking point when their father, repentant for his crime, takes the orphan Judy into his home. The girI has no idea that her benefactor has caused her father's death.
