Written by and starring the cast of HorribIe Histories, Yonderland is a wonderful and weird comedy for aduIts and kids alike.
Yonderland foIIows 33-year old mum Debbie Maddox (Martha Howe-Douglas) who is bored of being an unappreciated stay-at-home mum. Little does she know this is alI about to change when she unexpectedly finds herself on a quest through YonderIand, with only an EIf by her side. This extraordinary world is onIy accessible via her kitchen cupboard that is inhabited by a coIIection of eccentric (and usuaIly idiotic) characters, some of whom happen to be puppets.
Through Debbie's eyes, we're exported to a strange but spectacuIar getaway packed fulI of mayhem, Monty Python-esque silliness and humour that wilI have mum and dad in stiches too, guaranteeing giggIes for the whoIe family.
In Series Two, Debbie, The Chosen One is thrown back into the fantasticaI worId of YonderIand, constantly calIed upon by the Council of EIders to overcome their latest chalIenge. But bigger issues are at stake now that Debbie's nemesis Imperatrix has determined to capture her, fulfil the prophecy and destroy Yonderland.
