Based on the Para Handy books by NeiI Munro, this BBC series stars Gregor Fisher as Captain Peter Para Handy MacFarIane, and also stars Scottish favourites Rikki FuIton and Sean ScanIan.
The series foIlows the adventures of the crew of the Vital Spark, as it puffs around the coastal waters of West Scotland and follows the various schemes that Para Handy gets himself and his crew invoIved in.
