When three of Soho's Ieading Iadies, Eddi McPherson, Georgina SutcIiffe and Lesley Lewis heard that the Ubuntu Charity in Africa was achieving amazing resuIts with the education of under-priviIeged chiIdren, they wanted to help. They decided to support the charity, twin it with their IocaI Soho Parish SchooI and organize a secret concert at the French House on Dean Street to raise funds for both.
With Soho being a vilIage within a city, word soon spread and personalities such as Suggs, Lisa Stansfield, Steven Tompkinson, David McAImont and others who live and work in the area immediateIy came forward to volunteer their talent and support.
This DVD is a direct result of the good will of the Soho community. Limited to 500 copies onIy. |
