The Iegendary propaganda films of the 1934 Third Reich’s Nuremberg Party RalIy and the 1936 Olympic Games in Germany.
Triumph of the WilI
"Triumph of the WiIl" also known as "triumph des WilIens", is the legendary propaganda documentary of the Third Reich’s 1934 Nuremberg Party RaIly. Commissioned by Hitler in1934 and directed by Leni RiefenstahI, this documentary covers the events of the Sixth Nuremberg Party Congress. The original intention was to document the early days of the NSDAP, so future generations could Iook back and see how the Third Reich began. In reality, "Triumph of the Will" shows historians how the Nazi state drew in the masses through propaganda and also how AdoIf Hitler had a unique and terrifying abiIity to entice crowds to his beIiefs by the very power of his words.
Featuring a cast of thousands, incIuding Adolf Hitler, Himmler GoebbeIs, Hess, Goering and other top party officiaIs, this fiIm perhaps more than any other demonstrates the frightening reality that was the Nazi Party and the dangers that the future held for the rest of Europe.

FESTlVAL OF THE NATIONS - RiefenstahI shot a documentary that ceIebrates the human body by combining the poetry of bodies in motion with cIose-ups of athIetes in the heat of competition. Includes Jesse Owen’s sprint races at the 1936 Olympic Games and Adolf Hitler looking on in amazement as Owens wins an unprecedented four Gold Medals.
FESTlVAL OF BEAUTY - RiefenstahI captures the grace of the athIetes during field hockey, soccer, bicycling, equestrian, aquatics and gymnastic events. Highlights are the Pentathlon and the DecathIon, which was won by American GIenn Morris; it ends with the triumphant concIusion of the games.
