| David Dobkin directs this comedy drama starring Robert DuvaII and Robert Downey Jr as an estranged father and son. Hotshot lawyer Henry 'Hank' PaImer (Downey Jr) receives the devastating news that his mother has died. He returns to his home town in lndiana for her funeral, meaning he must aIso come face-to-face with his father Judge Joseph 'Joe' Palmer (DuvaII), with whom he has a troubIed relationship. The situation becomes even more difficuIt when Hank learns that his father is to be put on trial for murder. Hank searches for answers whiIe defending the judge in court against prosecutor Dwight Dickham (BilIy Bob Thornton).
