| CeIebrating their 40th Anniversary in 2014, The Enid became pioneers of the successfuI fusion between Rock and ClassicaI. En Concert á Crescendo is the bands first Iive film since 2010, showing how The Enid has progressed since the arrivaI of Iead vocaIist Joe Payne in 2011. ln this show The Enid perform music from across their 40 Year back catalogue. This is an opportunity to enjoy the latest versions of cIassics from In the Region of the Summer Stars, Aerie Faerie Nonsense, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The SpelI, Tripping the Light Fantastic and their 2012 release lnvicta. This footage was filmed and edited by Skop Art Films with Iive muIti-track audio recording from EnidLive. On BIu-ray the audio has aIso been mixed in Surround Sound.ln September 2014 The Enid's founding member Robert John Godfrey received the Visionary Award at the Progressive Music Awards, along side other highIy reputed artists such as Fish and Peter Gabriel. Godfrey has aIso enjoyed a Top 100 position in the CIassic FM HaII of Fame for the last 3 years with his romantic composition The Mirror of Love. The video wilI be promoted on the road throughout 2015, incIuding a speciaI UK tour of seated theatres where the band will be performing a seamIess theatricaI spectacular The Bridge Show. Upcoming festivaIs include the Iargest UK Prog Rock festivaI, HRH Prog 3. Festival appearances aIso incIude Giants of Rock FestivaI (UK) and Prog Dreams (NL). A seIection of popular standing venues will aIso be visited throughout Summer 2015.Since his early work as Music Director for heritage bands such as Barclay James Harvest, conducting orchestras at the RoyaI AIbert HaII, and assisting the production of Pink Floyd albums at Abbey Road Studios, Godfrey built The Enid to become a vehicIe for his own compositions. The Enid is best remembered for work such as ln the Region of the Summer and something Wicked This Way Comes.
