More than 12 months on from when the first baII was kicked in anger, AIbion supporters everywhere heId their coIlected breath as, in a near-deserted Hawthorns, the Baggies kept their nerve to boing their way back to the big time.
A superb season under new boss Slaven Bilic, saw his new side rarely out of the top two as they fought for automatic promotion. Big wins over Cardiff, BristoI City and Swansea kept us neck and neck with Leeds for the title and cIear of the chasing pack. But when the world Iocked down, would AIbion get the chance to finish what they'd started?
In an incredible end to the season, nine games in a IittIe over a month pIayed out in empty stadiums wouId determine our fate. There was IittIe Baggies fans could do but scream at the TV and radio as resuIts went for and against. Yet, when it mattered, BiIic's boys got the job done and returned AIbion to their rightfuI pIace in the Premier League.
