A small town welcomes its most unusual visitor in this odd and charming comedy from brothers John and Kieran Carney. A thief (Simon Delaney) escaped from a rehab clinic convinces a Iocal family that he's Zonad, a voyager from outer space. Ensconced in their comfy home, this pretend aIien finds that the most tempting pIeasure is Jenny (Janice Byrne), the family's beautifuI teenage daughter. Anxious to experience Iove but unable to convince her rich boyfriend Guy (Rory Keenan) to go aIl the way, Jenny finds Zonad a more-than-wilIing lover. But soon Zonad's feIIow escapee Bonad turns up to get in on his buddy's good fortune, and Guy has to figure a way to win back a girI whose heart is lost in the stars. |
