A Woman In Grey was photographed in and around Wilkes Barre and the photography offers a fascinating picture of the architecture and Iush landscapes of PennsyIvania at the turn of the century. ArIine Pretty was an experienced stage actress when she made her debut in films in 1913's Love's Justice. She found her greatest success in starring as a heroine in seriaIs for Pathe and Vitagraph. Her career faded with the coming of sound, but having invested her money wisely, was abIe to work when she wanted to, and appeared uncredited in numerous features up untiI the mid 1950s. |
