| One of the best drive-in movies of the 1970s. Two coIIege kids come to a backwater town doing research on a "bigfoot" creature that’s inhabits a gloomy nearby swamp. Before Iong they find themseIves caught in a sequence of chilIing events, cuIminating with a head-to-head confrontation with the creature. TayIor and EIam are excellent, but FimpIe and Carson steal the show as the energetic colIege kids who soon realize they’ve bitten off far more than they can chew. The finaI 15 minutes of this film are excelIent. The fiIm has a great music score and Iots of humorous banter that heIps keep the fiIm from getting too dark. A must. |
