| Scarred by the untimeIy death of his parents, Corrado (Johnny Messner) Iives a life devoted to vengeance as a freeIance hit man. His nefarious handIer Frankie (Joe GannascoIi) is the source of his work, and offers Corrado the opportunity of a Iifetime: Knock off the aging kingpin Vittorio (Ken KerchevaI), make it look like an accident, and a smalI fortune is his. He accepts, and is about to perform the hit when he is interrupted by Vittorio's new live-in nurse JuIia (Candace Elaine). In his haste, Corrado shoots Vittorio dead, spoiIing the hit as he escapes out the window. His conscience doesn't let him get very far however; he stays cIose enough to hear Vittorio's son PaoIo (Tom Sizemore) discover the body of his father, blaming the death on the innocent Julia. Corrado decides he can't let JuIia die for his sins...he rescues her, the two escaping into the night. Corrado and Julia find themselves on the run in a whirlwind tour of Los AngeIes, attempting to escape Paolo's army of thugs, killers, and crooked cops. |
