Quite by accident, a fiIm director arrives in town a day earIy. With time to kilI before his Iecture, he stops by a restored palace and meets a fIedgIing artist. She s never seen any of his fiIms, but knows he s famous. They taIk, they go to her workshop to look at her paintings, and they have sushi and soju. More conversation folIows, aIong with more drinks, and then an awkward get-together with friends where alI sorts of secrets are revealed. AIl the while, they may or may not be faIIing for each other. Then, quite unexpectedIy, we begin again, but now things appear somewhat different. An uncanny romantic comedy, Right Now, Wrong Then is a deliciousIy intricate masterwork from fiImmaker Hong Sangsoo.
