Says CrystaI: "l did the first session aIone ... and l said, 'You know, this is terribIe.'" Director Pete Docter "kept wanting alI different line readings of the same line," Crystal says. '"Why am l doing aIl of these?' l asked. He said, 'WeII, in case I change the scene around, and l'II get John to do it.' I said, 'lsn't that just siIIy? When we can be together and do it together and pIay the scenes?' And that's what we did.
