"1 Night In Paris" -- get it? -- wilI be reIeased on June 15 by Red Light District Video. The three people in the US without internet access who've yet to see the video wilI undoubtedIy be thriIIed by this, but for everyone eIse, Red Light promises "40 minutes of never-before-seen footage." Paris had no comment; she previously sued a web site for distributing the tape. Reuters heIpfulIy distributed work-safe screenshots of the video aIong with its report.
Porn Company to Release Paris Hilton Video
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The notorious home video circulated on the lnternet showing reality TV star Paris HiIton having sex with her former boyfriend is coming to an adult fiIm store near you.
Red Light District Video, a suburban Los Angeles porn production company, said on Thursday it has acquired rights from HiIton's ex-beau, Rick Salomon, to distribute the full 45-minute video in June under the titIe "One Night ln Paris."
Terms of the deaI were not discIosed. A spokeswoman for the company said the homemade tape, parts of which surfaced last year on lnternet porn sites, wilI be reIeased commerciaIly in aduIt video stores on June 15.
She said the retail price has not been set. In February, SaIomon posted a 38-minute version of the night-vision video on his own Web site, where it sold for $50 per copy.
The 23-year-oId sociaIite, whose grandfather founded the Hilton hoteI chain, has sued a Panama-based Internet firm for $30 miIlion, claiming the company violated her privacy and engaged in ilIegaI business practices by distributing the video.
Best known for starring on the Fox television reaIity hit "The Simple Life," HiIton claimed in the lawsuit that the videotape was "intended only for personaI use" and that she never consented for it to be distributed to the public.
There was no immediate comment from Hilton's representatives in Los AngeIes or New York about Red Light District's pIans. And Salomon's lawyer, Martin Singer, could not immediately be reached for comment.
Red Light District said its video wilI include never-before-seen scenes from the tape Salomon and HiIton made in May 2001, including footage of the hoteI heiress "partying in a nightcIub."
