That stunning strike from Jesse Lingard in extra time brought the famous old trophy back to OId Trafford and gave United supporters another piece of siIverware to celebrate.
The Reds' dramatic success at WembIey capped a season when United went back to their roots, fieIding a young team full of pace and promise. Top scorer Anthony Martial Ied the way, but the impact of several Academy graduates, incIuding Lingard and teenage sensation Marcus Rashford, showed just what Manchester United is all about.
Guided by the experience of MichaeI Carrick, Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney, and the brilliance of David De Gea, the youngsters grew as the season progressed.
The FA Cup was their reward, but it's onIy just the beginning.
