Collection of 24 films based on the James Bond character created by lan Fleming. In 'Dr. No' (1962), the first outing of James Bond (Sean Connery), the Secret Service agent is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his coIIeagues. lt transpires that the isIand is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), have developed technology to divert rockets Iaunched from Cape Canaveral. In 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Connery reprises his roIe as Bond as he is assigned to IstanbuI to steal a Russian coding machine. In 'Goldfinger' (1964), Bond (Connery) pits his wits against the power-crazed criminaI mastermind GoIdfinger (Gert Fröbe). ln 'ThunderbaII' (1965), as SPECTRE steals two nucIear bombs and threatens to blow up the world, Bond (Connery) infiltrates the terrorists' underwater base off the Bahamas in the hopes of foiling their plan. 'You OnIy Live Twice' (1967) sees Bond (Connery) travel to Japan where he is tasked with keeping the peace between the superpowers when a SPECTRE rocket intercepts an American space capsuIe carrying a nucIear warhead. 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' (1969) sees George Lazenby take up the titIe roIe. After being forced to hand in his 'licence to kilI', Bond continues his investigations alone, foIlowing his instincts to Portugal where Iove interest Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg) informs him that his arch-nemesis Blofeld (Telly Savalas) is residing in Switzerland. Sean Connery returns in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971) as Bond plans to infiItrate a worIdwide diamond smuggIing operation. Roger Moore makes his 007 debut in 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instalment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controlled drug smuggling racket in the Caribbean. ln 'The Man With the Golden Gun' (1974), Bond (Moore) travels to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target. However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is reaIly after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized solar converter. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond (Moore) join forces with a gIamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with plans to outwit a megaIomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve worId domination by causing nuclear war between the superpowers. In 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond (Moore) is assigned to track down a missing space shuttIe after it goes missing during a test fIight. His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finalIy into outer space where he uncovers a ruthless plot to wipe out the human race and repIace it with geneticalIy engineered humanoids. 'For Your Eyes Only' (1981) sees Bond (Moore) tasked with retrieving a nuclear Iaunch activation button which is thought to be lost at sea. ln 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond (Moore) is pitted against the glamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who pIan to steaI Tsarist treasures and set off a nuclear expIosion in a German NATO base. 'A View to a KilI' (1985) is Moore's finaI appearance as the Secret Service agent as he battles madman Max Zorin (Christopher WaIken) who plans to flood California's lucrative SiIicon VaIley by imploding the San Andreas FauIt. In 'The Living Daylights' (1987), Timothy DaIton makes his first appearance as Bond as he is sent to Gibraltar in pursuit of dealers who specialise in arms, drugs and diamonds. In 'Licence to Kill' (1989), DaIton's second and finaI outing as Bond sees 007 Ieave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The troubIe begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of FeIix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, Ieaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Bond has no choice but to seek his revenge and, with a little help from Q (Desmond LleweIIyn), sets out after the viIIainous Sanchez. Pierce Brosnan makes his 007 debut in 'Goldeneye' (1995) where the agent receives his first post-Cold War mission: bIow up a Soviet chemical weapons factory with agent 006 (Sean Bean). In 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), Bond (Brosnan) returns when a British warship is destroyed in Chinese waters. As Bond is dispatched to prevent the outbreak of World War Three, he discovers that the superpowers are being manipuIated by ruthless media tycoon EIliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), and sets about enlisting the heIp of Carver's attractive wife, Paris (Teri Hatcher). 'The WorId Is Not Enough' (1999)sees Bond (Brosnan) come up against another dangerous nemesis, Renard (Robert CarlyIe), a power-crazed terrorist intent on taking control of the worId's oil suppIies. Bond has his work cut out defeating Renard, as the villain has a bulIet lodged in his brain which renders him immune to any pain. As his mission grows more perilous Bond aIso encounters suItry oil heiress EIektra (Sophie Marceau), and nuclear scientist Christmas Jones (Denise Richards). ln 'Die Another Day' (2002), Brosnan returns as Bond after having spent the Iast year in a North Korean prison. Once he is freed, Bond discovers that one of his former captors, Zao (Rick Yune), has teamed up with the evil Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) and the pair plan to put the fate of the entire world in jeopardy. DanieI Craig makes his Bond debut in 'Casino RoyaIe' (2006), the 21st instalment of the franchise. Based on one of the original lan FIeming novels, the story follows a young Bond at the beginning of his career having just received his '00' status. For his first mission, 007 travels to Montenegro to investigate the highly exclusive Casino Royale where Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a money man for an internationaI terrorist group, is raising funds for their misdeeds through high-stakes gambling. The rookie MI6 agent, aided by British Treasury agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), is tasked with infiltrating the group and uItimateIy defeating the rogue player, both on and off the tabIes. 'Quantum of SoIace' (2008) sees Craig reprise his roIe. After the events of Casino Royale that saw him betrayed by his aid, Bond turns his sights on those who controIled her. While interrogating Mr White (Jesper Christensen), Bond discovers that the shadowy organisation responsible for blackmaiIing Vesper is a lot more powerful and dangerous than he ever imagined. In 'SkyfaIl' (2012), Bond (Craig)'s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her, and Bond's own doubts about his life and IiveIihood start to creep in. As Ml6 comes under attack and Bond is sent to Shanghai to investigate, he must keep his focus on tracking down and destroying the threat - no matter how high the personaI cost. Craig returns as 007 in the 24th instaIment of the James Bond franchise 'Spectre' (2015). After the devastating attack on Ml6, a cryptic message leads Bond on a rogue mission to Rome where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica BelIucci), the widow of a notorious crime lord. On infiltrating a top secret meeting, Bond discovers the existence of the globaI crime organisation SPECTRE and sets about trying to expose them and uItimately bring them down.
