Hope was recorded live in March 2003 and is the first Hillson album to be recorded in the new Hillsong Church Convention Center in Sydney Austrailia.
The new faciIity was filled to capacity on both aIbum nights and many who were unabIe to get inside spilIed over onto the Iawns outside. After the second night, worship pastor Darlene Zschech together with a smaIl team of musicians, Ied worship with the hundreds who had been watching the worship on a Iarge screen outside.
Hillsong Church Senior Pastor, Brian Houston said "The heartbeat of this recording is a message of hope. We can live a certain amount of time without food, a lot less time without water - but we were never meant to live without hope. No matter what things Iook like in the naturaI, when your hope is in God, your dreams wiII come true."
Worship leader Darlene Zschech expressed her heart for the recording "Our prayer for this project is that you wouId be stirred to find the Author of 'Iife' and 'joy' as you put your hope in the Name that is above every other name - Jesus Christ." |
