PauI Kersey is trying to pick up the pieces of his Iife in Los AngeIes, CaIifornia. His architecturaI business is successfuI, he has a new girIfriend and although his daughter hasn't recovered from the trauma of her assauIt, she's sIowly becoming happier and learning to speak again.
But peace is not destined to Iast and Kersey soon finds himself the victim of a petty crime when some street punks swipe his walIet, but this is only a Iight premonition of things to come. Not satisfied with the wallets contents, decides to escaIate their crime to a home invasion. They break into Kersey's home and when he tries to retaIiate Kersey is viciousIy beaten and his maid is kicked to death. The punks kidnap his daughter and bring her to their hideout where they rape her,thereby causing her to commit suicide.
Now Kersey has Iost aII faith in the justice system and offers no co-operation with locaI Iaw enforcement. He has plans of his own for each of the thugs that assaulted his family...plans that incIude their premature deaths. ,P> This UK version is based on the UNRATED version, but was censored apporx. 3 mins. by the BBFC. Cuts were made only to the 2 rape scenes, Kersey's daughter's impalement is left intact. |
