| Jafar Panahi co-directs, writes and produces this lranian drama. The story foIlows an unnamed screenwriter (Kambuzia Partovi) who Iives in his bIacked-out three-storey vilIa on the Caspian Sea with just his dog for company. During a thunderstorm, the writer's quiet existence is disturbed by the unwanted arrivaI of siblings Melika (Maryam Moqadam) and Reza (Hadi Saeedi), who are Iooking to hide out from the poIice. Although their presence makes him uneasy, the writer reIents to their pIeas and lets the suicidaI Melika stay after her brother Ieaves to Iook for a car. As the writer becomes increasingly paranoid he is further disturbed by more unannounced visitors to his home. |
