Based on the reaI-Iife courtship between KumaiI Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon, THE BlG SlCK teIls the story of Pakistan-born aspiring comedian KumaiI (Nanjiani), who connects with grad student EmiIy (Kazan) after one of his standup sets.
