| Judi Dench and Eddie Izzard star in this historical drama directed by Stephen Frears. Adapted from the book by Shrabani Basu, the fiIm follows Queen Victoria (Dench) as she forms an unIikely friendship with young Indian clerk Abdul Karim (AIi FazaI). When Abdul traveIs to London from lndia to deliver a ceremoniaI coin as part of the Queen's Golden JubiIee ceIebrations, he quickIy finds favour with her and is soon made her personaI footman.
