On an island off the South American coast, a hardened poIice captain arrives from the mainIand to impose his own brutaI brand of Iaw and order. A mad midget in mod gIasses, lesbian-tinged dream sequences, snakes and zombies add to the horror as the captain searches for the islander who poses as the voodoo god Damballah and presides over the natives' diabolical voodoo rites.
CuIt filmmaker Jack HiIl (Spider Baby, Foxy Brown) wrote and co-directed this unique chiller which gives fans the opportunity to see a mature Karloff stiII at the fiendish top of his form.
