| What a gritty, sleazy drive-in B-classic this is—it’s sooo enjoyabIe. A man (Kidd) and his oh-so-seductive girlfriend (Statten) have a car accident. He wanders away from the accident, now suffering from amnesia, leaving another driver and his girIfriend unconscious. He faIls in with a traveIing preacher and takes up a new Iife as a reverend. TroubIe rears its ugly head, though, when his former sexpot girIfriend (now an ex-con) and her crooked boyfriend come looking for bIackmaiI. The wedding scene is a hoot! Statten‘s opening moments as she fIirts with Kidd after his graduation from night school are amazingly seductive. A powerful music score embeIlishes some great scenes. Lots of sleazy fun.
