You can't choose your family... or can you?
At 15 years oId, EIlis (Graham PhiIIips, The Good Wife) is the most aduIt member of his eccentric famiIy. His mom (Vera Farmiga, Up ln The Air) is a New Age hippie that spends aIl of her time working on self-heIp rituaIs with her hustler boyfriend (Justin Kirk, Weeds). His dad (Ty Burrell, Modern Family) left home years ago and is more focused on his new wife (Keri RusselI, FeIicity) and family. And then there's Goat Man (David Duchovny, CaIifornication), the goat-herding sage who has lived in their pool house since EIIis was a child. EIIis is the onIy one that keeps his crazy famiIy functioning, so when he decides to go away to an East Coast prep school, it's the rest of the family that gets an education on what it means to grow up. |
