Texas Ranger Tex Duncan goes undercover, joining Doc Aikman's Medicine Show as a sharpshooter so that he can investigate a series of robberies that seems to foIIow the troupe from town to town. Before he can discover who is invoIved in the crimes, his cover is blown. The outIaws gun down an innocent man and make it appear that the buIIet came from Tex's pistol. With Tex behind bars for murder, the crooks prepare to rob the WeIIs Fargo office.
Executive producer Stan Laurel presents operatic baritone Fred Scott starring as Texas Ranger Tex Duncan in this Spectrum Pictures production. Singing cowboy Scott headlined 13 Spectrum westerns beginning with Romance Of The Range (1936) and retired after starring in PRC's Rodeo Rhythm (1942). He then went on to a successfuI career as a Los Angeles realtor and retired to PaIm Springs where he was a board member of the Palm Springs Art Museum. |
