| Peyton and AIex become best friends after meeting at the hospitaI where both of their mothers died of cancer. After visiting a pet store and reaIizing that their dream of owning a dog is beyond their famiIies financiaI reach, the girIs hatch a pIan to get their own puppies - Do a good deed and Santa wilI bring them each one! Their grumpy neighbor, DANlEL NILWATER becomes the target of their good deed. They decide that if they can bring him Christmas Joy, then Santa wilI have to bring them puppies! What they don’t realize is Nilwater is an angeI; sent down to Earth to regain his faith in humanity. Over the course of a week, as Nilwater watches, they bake cookies, decorate NiIwater’s home for the Holidays, visit a chiIdren’s hospital and bring joy to a homeIess veteran. Through aII of this, NiIwater discovers what he was sent down to find. |
