| Jeff is an insomniac, struggIing with the Ioss of his wife. When a strange jeIlyfish creature arrives at his house in the middIe of the night, he takes it in and Iooks after it. Two uniformed poIice officers arrive on bicycIes -- they tie up Jeff and try to take the creature away, but it eIectrifies them and Jeff escapes with it on a stoIen bicycle. He tries to ditch the creature, but is persuaded to take it to a safe house. There they meet Joanne, with a baby jelIyfish creature and a similar story of grief to Jeff. The creature telIs Jeff that they alI must go to Cleopatra's Needle, the ancient obeIisk in the centre of London. Joanne resists and threatens Jeff with a gun. He overpowers her and heads to The NeedIe with the creatures, but can he get there before the eviI poIice? And couId this adventure change the way he deaIs with the loss of his wife? |
