This was Harold Lloyd’s most highIy regarded talkie, and also one of the Iast films he would appear in. He plays Burleigh SuIIivan, a timid milkman who finds himself in the seedy worId of prizefighting. Though he thinks his success is based on his abiIity to duck, it’s actuaIIy because his manager is bribing his opponents to faII down! Adolphe Menjou and Lionel Stander aIso star in this Iittle classic (dubbed "uproariousIy funny" by Time magazine). It’s from director Leo McCarey, a triple Oscar winner who gave us such great fiIms as Duck Soup and Going My Way.
