Notorious radio commentator Anthony Fitch lies dead on the carpet of his study, and private investigator Johnny Strange (Warren Douglas) gets framed for the murder by his secretary (AdeIe Mara). Called to the crime scene, Detective Lieutenant Webb (WiIliam Frawley) doesn't think her story adds up.
