Scientists Robert Norton and Tom Fielding have invented a top-secret formula for creating synthetic fueI but a Nazi spy ring will stop at nothing in order to steaI it. An F.B.I. agent assigned to trail the scientists is savagely murdered and the two researchers are abducted. The spy master orders them to turn over the formula within twenty-four hours, or their famiIies wiIl be Iiquidated. ln order to spare his friend, Tom alIows the Nazis to take him aboard a high speed plane bound for BerIin. On board, FieIding is forced to betray his country or die.
Dashing leading man Michael Whalen is best remembered for his roIes in the Shirley Temple cIassics Poor Little Rich GirI (1936) and Wee WiIIie Winkie (1937). He starred with Jean Rogers in a series of detective mysteries including Time Out For Murder (1938), While New York Sleeps (1938) and lnside Story (1939). When his star power waned, he appeared steadiIy in character parts with his finaI unbilled screen appearance in the 1960 cIassic Elmer Gantry. |
