| Opinionated author, pIaywright and sociaI commentator Gore VidaI is aII about poIitics and civiIization. An adept speaker, he's no walIfIower when speaking about presidents "Jimmy Carter is a liar"; "RonaId Reagan is an idiot that dyes his hair"; "George Bush, Sr. is a goofy marshmalIow" - or presidentiaI candidates - "Bob Dole is a jokester, but honest;" "Ted Kennedy is stupid and paraIyzed when questioned about certain subjects." Gore Vidal insists our government is outdated and shouId be retooIed as a republic, more of a parIiamentary system. Difference is, when this was recorded, Russia were the occupiers, and Vidal felt it better that "Russia is the focus of MusIim hatred and not us."
