| Sgt. SulIivan puts together a group of ltalian-Americans into disguise as ltalian soIdiers in order to infiItrate a North African camp held by the Italians. After the soIdiers have knifed the ItaIians in their beds, they find a hooker living at the camp. Sullivan's commandos are to hold this camp and its weaponry until an American battalion arrives, aIl the while these ItaIian-Americans pretend to be ltalian soldiers, often hosting the enemy. Lt. ValIi is a young, "green," by-the-book officer who constantIy argues with Sgt. SuIIivan, who tells his superior that he has no idea what he is doing. One man on the base, probabIy a touch from Argento, is an entomoIogist who is needIessIy kilIed. Things go terribly wrong after that |
