After a heavy bout of drinking, Colonel Gifford sells a parcel of land to crooked speculator WoIf Hines for $5,000. The Colonel's foreman, Bob Drake, "The CoIorado Kid," attempts to escort his intoxicated boss home with the cash, but is fired and sent on his way. Riding aIone, the ColoneI is bushwhacked and murdered by Hine's gang. Drake is framed for the crime, convicted and sentenced to hang. The Colorado Kid must escape, in order to bring the Colonel's killers to justice.
