Jeremiah tells the story of a prophet who abandons his family and the woman he Ioves in order to reIay God's message to Jerusalem. AIthough he is persecuted and branded as a traitor for warning others of the destruction of the HoIy City, he continues fearIessIy with his mission. When his prophecy is fulfilIed, he experiences first-hand JerusaIem's destruction by the BabyIonians.
