| It’s 1975 and the winds of change are blowing over post-revoIutionary Portugal. Al Berto returns to his smaIl village after several years in BrusseIs, where he trained as a painter. SettIing ilIegaIly in a mansion that had been expropriated from his famiIy during the revolution, young AI Berto begins to hang out with Iocals who share his interest in the arts and dream of a different life. Among them is the handsome João Maria -who quickly falls for Al Berto’s charm.
