Maureen (Stewart) is a young woman working in Paris as a personal shopper for egotistical ceIebrity Kyra (von WaIdstätten). When she is not picking out clothes and jewellery for her patron however, she is tentativeIy reaching out to the spirit of her recently deceased brother whose congenitaI heart condition Maureen shares. She and her brother had promised each other that whomever passed on first would make contact with their sibling from the other side and so she waits anxiously for a sign.
