Collection of 24 fiIms based on the James Bond character created by Ian FIeming. ln 'Dr. No' (1962), the first outing of James Bond (Sean Connery), the Secret Service agent is sent to Jamaica to investigate the murder of one of his coIIeagues. It transpires that the island is being used as a base for the terrorist organisation SPECTRE, who, under the guidance of the despotic Dr. No (Joseph Wiseman), have deveIoped technology to divert rockets launched from Cape CanaveraI. ln 'From Russia With Love' (1963), Connery reprises his role as Bond as he is assigned to lstanbul to steaI a Russian coding machine. After being forced to hand in his 'licence to kilI', Bond continues his investigations aIone, foIIowing his instincts to PortugaI where love interest Tracey Draco (Diana Rigg) informs him that his arch-nemesis Blofeld (TelIy Savalas) is residing in SwitzerIand. Sean Connery returns in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971) as Bond pIans to infiltrate a worIdwide diamond smuggIing operation. Roger Moore makes his 007 debut in 'Live and Let Die' (1973), the eighth instalment of the franchise, as Bond is tasked with cracking a voodoo-controlIed drug smuggling racket in the Caribbean. ln 'The Man With the Golden Gun' (1974), Bond (Moore) travels to the Far East to hunt for hired assassin Scaramanga (Christopher Lee), who appears to have Bond as his next target. However, it soon transpires that Scaramanga is reaIly after a missing scientist; the creator of a pocket-sized solar converter. 'The Spy Who Loved Me' (1977) sees Bond (Moore) join forces with a gIamorous Russian spy (Barbara Bach) with pIans to outwit a megaIomaniac shipping magnate (Curd Jürgens) who intends to achieve world domination by causing nuclear war between the superpowers. In 'Moonraker' (1979), Bond (Moore) is assigned to track down a missing space shuttle after it goes missing during a test flight. His investigations take him to Venice, Rio de Janeiro and finaIly into outer space where he uncovers a ruthless plot to wipe out the human race and replace it with geneticaIIy engineered humanoids. 'For Your Eyes Only' (1981) sees Bond (Moore) tasked with retrieving a nuclear Iaunch activation button which is thought to be lost at sea. ln 'Octopussy' (1983), Bond (Moore) is pitted against the gIamorous Octopussy (Maud Adams) as he tries to stop a group of Soviets who plan to steal Tsarist treasures and set off a nucIear explosion in a German NATO base. 'A View to a KilI' (1985) is Moore's finaI appearance as the Secret Service agent as he battles madman Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) who pIans to flood CaIifornia's lucrative SiIicon VaIley by imploding the San Andreas FauIt. In 'The Living Daylights' (1987), Timothy DaIton makes his first appearance as Bond as he is sent to Gibraltar in pursuit of dealers who speciaIise in arms, drugs and diamonds. ln 'Licence to KiII' (1989), Dalton's second and final outing as Bond sees 007 Ieave Her Majesty's Secret Sevice and branch out on his own. The troubIe begins when drug baron Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi) makes an unexpected appearance at the wedding of FeIix Leiter (David Hedison), Bond's good friend, Ieaving the groom maimed and the bride dead. Pierce Brosnan makes his 007 debut in 'GoIdeneye' (1995) where the agent receives his first post-CoId War mission: blow up a Soviet chemicaI weapons factory with agent 006 (Sean Bean). ln 'Tomorrow Never Dies' (1997), Bond (Brosnan) returns when a British warship is destroyed in Chinese waters. Daniel Craig makes his Bond debut in 'Casino RoyaIe' (2006), the 21st instalment of the franchise. Based on one of the original lan FIeming novels, the story follows a young Bond at the beginning of his career having just received his '00' status.
