Then, anonymous envelopes of cash start arriving at the museum. Coincidence? Complicating matters further are anonymous phone calls, a journalist asking too many questions, a lecherous guitar picker, a wealthy boor, the boor's libidinous wife, and Wilder's own tangled past. Wilder Rumors is a small town mystery with Southern Appalachian charm and humor. Lewis Wilder's entanglements with rumors, burglary, and murder keep the inhabitants of Nolichucky entertained, as surely as they will the reader. |
