| Poetry, as it's defined in the modern dictionary, is a literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm. The definition is pretty accurate. The written word when by itself is simple, and sometimes holds no meaning whatsoever, but when certain words are grouped together, it can be magical.
